Contest: LatviaxReader: Cookies

You were bored, bored beyond belief. You sighed in exasperation. You had been connecting the dots on the ceiling, not with pen mind you, to create images. Sure, you could have gone outsides but your mom was trying to make you garden and at the moment, you didn't want to be elbow deep in earthworms and mud. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to start gardening a day after it rained and the earth was still damp? You shook your head trying to imagine what your crush was doing but then heard your phone ring. Your heart skipped a beat. Your crush was calling you – it was Latvia.

"Hello?" You said.

"H-hey _____! Its Latvia!" You heard the boy answer.

"Oh hi Latvia! What's up?"

"Nothing m-much! I wanted to know if you would go to the bakery with me to buy cookies for Mr. Russia!" He answered quickly. You knew how afraid Latvia was afraid of Russia, and if he didn't get the right things, Russia would seriously hurt him.

"Ok Latvia!! I'll meet you at the bakery at 1:40?" You asked.

"S-sure sounds good! I-I'll meet you there! Bye!" He said quickly as he hung up the phone.

You wanted to look your best in front of Latvia so you put on a (f/c) tank top with navy blue jeans, and a pair of flip-flops. After getting changed, you looked outside the door to tell your mom you were leaving and you were off! You left your house and walked to the bakery.

You waited outside the bakery for 5 minutes looking at all the good before you heard someone call your name. You turned to see Latvia running towards you. He had his normal uniform on and he was sweating. 'Did he run all the way here?' you thought.

"Hey _______!! Sorry I'm late!! Russia was telling me not to wonder off and not to try to run way!" He said, stopping infront of you, putting his hands on his knee's panting.

"That's ok Latvia!! I'm just happy you showed up!" You said smiling. "Shall we go in?" You asked. "Yeah lets go!" Latvia said as he walked into the bakery with you.

You both looked at all the goodies the bakery had. Boy, there was a lot. Cakes were on shelves and lollypops and chocolates were on the counter. You would always see Latvia looking at you then turning his head away blushing, which you though was very cute and giggles. You both looked at many cookies such as Aachener Printen's, Coconut macaroon's, and Wafers.

You both ended up picking out a bag of Sugar cookies. You both walked out of the store smiling. It was nice to hang out with Latvia without Russia peering over him and telling him what to do. And besides, Russia scares the crap out of you.

"I had a really good time today _____!" Latvia said smiling while holding the bag of cookies in one hand. "I had a good time today Latvia!!" You said back. You looked at your watch. Your mom was going to wonder where you went.

"It's getting late…..I should get going. Thanks for a wonderful day Latvia!!" You said. "Yeah I should get going as well…" Latvia said. You both stood there and an awkward moment of silence passed.

"I'll call you later!!" You said, kissing him on the cheek and ran down the block to your house. Latvia stood there for a minute after you left, blushing. He gripped the bag tighter and started to walk back to Russia's house, smiling.
