C: Jealous!DenmarkxReaderxSweden Part 2: Why him?

You still haven't figured out how to write your story, and it was really getting on your nerve. You have thought about maybe changing the beginning but you didn't want to since you liked it do much. You thought that maybe she could wish on a star one night and the next morning this guy came and then changed her whole life, but you weren't that sure if you wanted to use it or not. You tried texting your friend Claudia again, but like that morning, she didn't respond. You sighed and laid your forehead onto your desk and stared at the ground, hoping to figure out what you wanted to do. Well, that wasn't the only thing that was bugging you. You were still upset how Mathias suddenly left and acted so strange when you told him that you invited Berwald along to play tennis with you both. You just didn't understand why he acted so strange. He never acted like that.

Then the idea popped in your mind. 'Is Mathias...jealous?..' you thought as you lifted up your head, placing an elbow on your desk and your hand to your head to keep it up. "Why would he be jealous?.." you said out loud as you twirled a finger through your hair for a few moments. You smiled and another idea popped in your head. You were going to make Mathias confess to you that he was jealous!! You then grabbed your phone, searched up Mathias's contact, and then texted him:

"Hey Mathias! Do you want to come over for dinner? I'm sure my cousins won't mind!!" From _________ 4:52 p.m.

You waited for about 5 minutes before receiving a text back from Mathias. You quickly looked at his reply.

"Hey! Sure, only if your positively sure! And what time should I be over??" From Mathias 4:57 p.m.

"Yeah! I'm sure!! And you can come at around 6:30!!" From _________ 4:59 p.m.

"Ok!! See you then!!" From Mathias 5:02 p.m.

You giggled happily like a seven year old and you place your phone in its charger and jumped happily out of your chair in joy. You made sure that Berwald didn't know, because you were afraid that if he did know, you would feel really bad and would invite him over also. You then looked at yourself and realized that the clothes you were wearing were sweaty from when you played tennis with Berwald earlier. You decided to go take a shower and grabbed a fluffy towel and headed towards the bathroom.

After you had taken a shower, you slipped on a pair of gray sweatpants, a regular (f/c) t-shirt that said "I love (favorite soda)" and a plain black sweatshirt over it. You knew that you didn't have to look your best when being around Mathias, and he even told you that he likes it much better when you are in clothes that you feel comfortable in. You checked you clock that already said 6:15. 'Mathias should be here in another  15 minutes...' you thought to yourself. You cleaned up your desk and went downstairs to tell Patty and Eileen that Mathias was coming over, then walked over to where Harrison was. Of course he was still playing his video games. You really couldn't understand how he could play that same game for so long without ever getting bored.

You watched Harrison quietly until you heard the doorbell ring. You then ran towards the door and opened it to see Mathias standing there with his usual smile back on his face. He was wearing baggy jeans, a loose red t-shirt, and black sneakers. "Hey Mathias!!" you said as you hugged him tighter than you usually do. He blushed slightly before hugging you back, hoping that his blush would quickly disappear. "Hey _________!" he said, letting go of you as you allowed him into the house. "I'm sorry about leaving earlier... I didn't feel too good." Mathias lied, hoping that you would believe it, but since you known him for so long, you could easily tell that he was lying but just went on with it. "Oh that's alright! I'm happy that's your feeling better now!!" you replied, grabbing his hand then lead him into the kitchen. But what you didn't know is the blush that crept onto Mathias's face.

Dinner was absolutely delicious. Patty and Eileen had made lamb chops with mashed potatoes and some steamed carrots. Plus, It seemed like Mathias enjoyed the meal as much as you did. Eileen asked Mathias many questions about school and how he always played tennis with you, with only Patty telling her to not ask so many questions, Harrison playing a car racing game on his itouch under the table, and you laughing every so often. After helping cleaning up the table, you lead Mathias outside to the front porch and you both sat down on the front steps and talked for a long time. Him making you laugh here and there, and you making him smile. It made you both look like a happy couple, even though you were both only good, close friends.

But all happy times must end. It has grown late and since you both had to go back to school tomorrow, he had to leave, which disappointed you. You didn't even have the chance to ask him if he was jealous or not. "Well, thanks for coming over for dinner!" you told him as he got up, getting ready to leave. "No problem! Tell your cousins again for me that the food was great!" he said, that same smile still across his face. "Alright!! Have a good night Mathias!!" you said, giving him one last hug before heading back inside your house but was stopped by his hand holding your wrist. You were then pulled back towards him. You let out a gasp as a warm pair of lips went onto of yours. You blushed as Mathias took his lips off yours, smiled, letting go of your wrist, and walked back across the street towards his house. You were left there, speechless, putting your hands on where he had just kissed you and smiled. He was totally jealous~
